Sciatica, do you have a pain in the butt?

Hits: 2559

To have true sciatica, lower back pain is usually associated with it. In addition, sciatica is caused by compression of the nerves in your lower back. This nerve compression can be caused by bulging or herniated discs. These are treated with oral and or injectable steroids, non-surgical decompression techniques, surgical decompression or physical therapy. We use a combination of all of the above treatments to help patients get back on their feet as fast as possible.

If you are interested in a non-surgical approach to solving your sciatica, bring your MRI and come in for a consultation with Dr. Zappala today. If you have not had an MRI, one can ordered for you through the office.
